How fast does a train carrying
Horses, cattle,
And 7 mostly empty passenger cars
And 2 oil tankers going
Home to its secondary yard in Atlanta

This train is called an “odd-lots” train –
It picks up railroad cars
that otherwise
Got lost.
255 miles, just getting started.

Some people pick their nose
At a cellular level.

Nothing will satisfy the craving
More than picking a scab, or
Picking their nose
Until it bleeds

Or creating a new wound.
This is – only sometimes – done
As a deterrent to cutting
Oneself open with a
Jazzy razor blade.
